Check the operation of the door control switch assembly.

Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance:
Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition
1 - 4 Back door control switch not pushed 10 kΩ or higher
1 - 4 Back door control switch pushed Below 1 Ω


If the result is not as specified, replace the back door control switch.

Apply battery voltage to the power back door control switch assembly and check that the LED illuminates.

OK:
Measurement Condition Specified Condition
Battery positive (+) → 3 (ILL+)
Battery negative (-) → 2 (ILL-) 		LED illuminates


If the result is not as specified, replace the back door control switch.
